In the New York City the Waldorf Astoria is a luxurious hotel. In the New York in two historic landmark buildings the hotel has been housed, for its dual name which accounts. The first was built on the Fifth Avenue bearing the same name and architect Henry J. Hardenbergh designed it, in 1929 it was closed, in the Empire State Building razed for the construction. In Manhattan at 301 Park Avenue the present building, dating from 1931 and designed by the architect Schultze and Weaver which is an Art Deco landmark, it is 47 story and its height is 190.5 meters (625ft). From 1931 until the 1963 was the world’s tallest hotel the current hotel, when by the Moscow’s Hotel Ukraina by 7 meters (23 ft) it was surpassed. The Waldorf Astoria is one of the best known and world’s most prestigious, glamorous and luxurious hotel.

In keeping with the Art Deco style of the hotel a line of product launched the hotel in 2004, reportedly to have its own merchandise collection in the world becoming the first individual hotel.
