Crater Lake: Beautiful and Sacred Lake in Oregon

In Oregon of USA in the Cascade Mountains a spectacular and beautiful mountain lake is the Crater Lake. For the great beauty and depth widely renowned, by the Klamath Indians revered a sacred lake it is also.

The history of the Crater Lake:
Around 4600 BC was formed the Crater Lake when in spectacular fashion the top blew up the volcanic Mount Mazama.
