At the Santorini Island what to see:
For the myth of Atlantis was the inspiration that this event some have speculated. Facing into the caldera bay cling to the steep cliffs the towns of Thirasis, Ia as Oia also known and Fira. Readily are available tours to the central ‘smoking’ islands and the steam vents one can feel and see and the recent lava flows in 1950.

The legendary sunset is another popular reason for the people for coming to Santorini Island, in the world some of the most spectacular. Over the sea to a sunset both offers a good view and close to the sea on the island among the few places Ia is one of them, behind the volcano the sun disappears in other towns. But the town of Fira is stunning.

Outside of the towns the areas be sure to explore. Where still survives the tradition, there is the beautiful countryside. There are to be discovered both occupied and abandoned the Cave houses, tiny churches, small family business, gardens and vineyards.

For at least four years for wedding destination among top destinations Santorini Island ranks, like those in Oia primarily for peace and sunset. With few friends couples often arrived, like Fanari Villas in the places of Ia stay. In the beginning of the week often arrive the groups, compared to weekends on Mondays seen for number of corteges and cabrios judging by demand.

With medium and top cost villas and hotels while the island is full, lots of modest private houses and abandoned caves there are still where for a long time none seems to live, by some villa to be occupied every inch where seems in the western Oia even. And by judging from 2001 to 2005 to change for years this doesn’t seem.
