At the Santorini Island what to see:
The beaches in the Santorini Island –
● The Baxedes
At the north side of the island the Baxedes is the main beach. With black sand the Baxedes is a peaceful place, before tourists discovered the island how Santorini was like it is much more like. When the north wind is blowing this is not the best beach. By motorbike or by rented or private car to get there it is easiest.

● The Agios Georgios
From water sports to beach bars this beach has everything of the Santorini at the southern tip. Here a few small taverns are located and to have a quite swim it is the perfect spot and the massive crowd also avoid. By rented car or private car from Emporio and Perissa you can reach this beach.

● The Mesa Pigadia
By the town Akrotiri of the island near the nature side a beautiful rocky beach. To reach the beach there are several ways including from Akrotiri taking a small boat, biking or driving. On the beach itself there are restaurants from the Akrotiri main road about 800 meters away. For the ride it will cost you €7 and to rent an  umbrella it also cost you €7.

At the Santorini Island what to do:
● From high up to see the island, beaches, of the ocean for an amazing view, the monastery, or more ambitiously the Ancient Thira to see you can climb.
● From Fira to Oia along the caldera you can walk.
● You can do snorkeling and scuba diving. Even next to the volcano on a wreck up to 14 meters down can dive non-qualified divers.
● In Exo Gonia the horseback riding.
● In Santorini Island you can plan your wedding program.
● Enjoy the sunset of Oia and the Caldera Cruise.

Few more words:
In the Santorini Island there are some historical and archaeological sites which you can visit like the Minoan tower which is roughly 3,500 year old like the Pompeii in volcanic ash preserved, one of the must see place of Santorini Island. You can also visit the Ancient Thira on the island is a classical city, above sea level about 396 meters high. By the leader of the Thira’s the Dorian in the 9th century BC it was founded. You can enjoy the architecture of the Cycladic Islands which is world famous for blue domed churches and white washed homes, also the art, nature and the scenery of this stunning island.

The visitors can shop in the island like the Atlantis Books. This island is one of the most prominent wine region in the Greece, from the European Union of original status enjoy special designation whose wine. In Oia on Iama Wine Store you can buy Santorini wines. Can do the activities like sea kayak, hiking, rock climbing and stand up paddling. In the Santorini Island there are amazing arrangement for dines, drinks, and accommodations. But you should be aware about the rental scams, especially only with ATVs and motorbikes which agencies working.
