In 1416 the Drepung Monastery was founded (in Chinese which is Zhebang Si and in Tibetan which is Drepung Gompa) what is located on the outskirts of Lhasa once the most influential and largest monastery of Tibet, more than 10,000 monks with. The history of the Drepung Monastery:
