Abydos: The holy city in the ancient Egypt (Part – 1)

About the Abydos, Egypt:
In the world one of the holiest site was the Abydos for the ancient Egyptian, of the god Osiris as the cult center and the underworld as the gateway the nearby hills under to lie was believed, for the burial and pilgrimage it was a popular place.

In the northern Upper Egypt a large archaeological site is the Abydos today, with the nearby Dendera in conjunction often visited.
