It has a history more than 2,000 of years. Now some of the sections of this wall have disappeared or ruins however still now it is one of the most attractive place to the tourists around the world and also in China. Every year 9 million to 10 million visitors visits this place because of its historical importance and ancient architecture grandeur.

The Great Wall of China carries a part of the rich Chinese culture. In the Chinese symbolism and mythology this wall has a huge effect. About the collapse of a section of this wall which caused by Meng Jiangnu is the most well-known legend.
