Travel Baha’i House of Worship: Travel the temple of Baha’i Faith in USA

About the Baha’i House of Worship, Wilmette, USA:
Over the Lake Michigan when rises the sun, in Wilmette one of the best glimpses catches the Baha’i House of Worship. The Dawning Place which called appropriately and affectionately, one of the most pristine wonders of architecture in Chicago is the temple. In the sprawling landscape in the Chicago there is a dot of the Baha’i temple. However, into the sky about twenty stories it reaches, above the ornate dome of the building in a delicate point ending.

The history of the Baha’i House of Worship:
In the mid-1800s in Iran was founded the Baha’i Faith, but now of the world in every corner can be found the Baha’i Faith, being no exception with the United States, it is one of the largest and oldest communities of the Baha’i of the US. In this suburb of north-Chicago better felt than there is the presence. Worldwide among the seven temples of the Baha'i Faith’ the oldest one is the Baha’i House of Worship in Wilmette, and in the Western Hemisphere is the only one. By the Louis Bourgeois of Canada it was designed, on 1st May, 1953 the building was dedicated, of this faith the prophet founder son of Bahaullah by the Abdul Baha was laid after the cornerstone over thirty years. As part of the Kingdom Project of the Baha’i funded various renovations of seen and unknown today is undergoing this temple.

At the Baha’i House of Worship what to see:
The Baha’i House of Worship as with all, nine sides has the Wilmette, a dome which towering and of reflecting pools to a garden what is colorful brilliantly there is the centerpiece, high junipers and also the tulips of endless. Indeed, of the cast concrete the lacelike exterior the building and in the country to any garden the central sculpture of the most striking is the Baha’i House of Worship which make from the quartz. Although in the basement it is located, there is the necessary stop of the visitors center. The basement upon entering, to the Foundation Hall the doors first see the visitors. The original structure is the Foundation Hall and stands the current temple atop of which the meeting area.

However, of the lower level in the corner there is a small room, of a large cornerstone to the side sits quietly a white rocking chair which is antique. For the building laid it was the part not only because of that so significance is the cornerstone because by the son of Bahaullah the Abdul Baha it was done. The connections of Abdul Baha also has the rocking chair, in Kenosha, Wisconsin which is nearby with the Baha’is during his stay it was used and owned by him. From the 1890s to 1920s for the faith of Baha Faith a major leader and propagator was the Abdul Baha. There are many architectural beauty you can see in this Baha’i House of Worship.
