From the Itami to Kyoto
Near the Osaka is located, Kansai’s largest domestic airport is the Itami Airport. The travelers will most likely arrive here from the other areas in Japan if they flying into Kyoto. By the limousine bus no.15 from Itami Airport is the easiest way to get to the Kyoto. About an hour the trip takes and ¥1,280 costs it. An hour three times the buses run. A combination of monorail and the train the visitors can take alternatively, at least two charges (to Hotarugaike the monorail, to Juso the Hankyu Takarazuka Line, to Kyoto the Hankyu Kyoto Line) it requires but just ¥650 it costs and in an hour can be completed. By the train –
From Tokyo by Shinkansen (the bullet train) at JR Kyoto station most visitors arrive. To the Kyoto takes approximately 2.15 hours the Nozomi trains and one way ¥13520 costs. With the ¥700-1,000 discount sell Nozomi tickets the travel agencies in Tokyo and Kyoto. In an agency if you buy a ticket, ‘open date’ it is, as long as it is not full you can board any train. To get the discount the best way is travelling in a group. ¥8,000 is the usual cost however ¥3,800 costs per person a party of three, and down to ¥2,300 per person drops the price traveling together a group of five.
In the Kansai region for travel, JR Shinkaisoku rapid service is the almost as fast alternative and cheaper also, at the price of local train which connects to Himeji, Kobe and Osaka. To Osaka and Kobe the private Hankyu or the Keihan lines or to Nara the Kintetsu line you can use for a slightly cheaper price. Through to Kyoto on the private lines includes travel the Kansai Thru Pass, and in the area a few days if you are staying than a JR Pass this may prove cheaper.
