At the Giant Sequoia National Monument what to see:
The following things you can explore during the visit of Giant Sequoia National Monument –
□ For the Kaweah River valley some good vistas has the entrance to the Ash Mountain down from the Giant Forest the winding and steep road.
□ For the narrow Kings Canyon many excellent views provides to Cedar Grove the road.
□ Between the Lodgepole and Grant Grove major lookout is only one, of the Sierras the great view.

By area are divided in Sequoia and Kings Canyon some of the attraction of the scenery, they are –
□ The Giant Forest:
From the main visitors center a few miles south at the center of the Sequoia of groves a collection, the General Sherman tree which includes, by weight and volume the largest tree of the world. Around a museum centers the area and a looping trail of 1-2 mile along can be seen the grove. From the grove uphill is 0.4 miles is the parking area, so back up the trial to easily walk not be able may those who from the main park road for a pickup to arrange may want, 7000 feet is the elevation you should remember that.

□ The Grants Grove:
To the parks at the west entrance of giant Sequoia a grove.
□ The Moro Rock Crescent Meadow Road:
At the Giant Forest Museum leaving the General’s Highway a 3 miles (about 5 kilometers) long road, of the Giant Forest at the south to several features leads. For RVs or for the trailers is not recommended this road, you should note that. Some features of this road are –

● Tunnel Log – Through which can be driven that is a fallen Sequoia. For the tall vehicles is available a bypass.
● Moro Rock – To the summit which gain about 300 foot or 91 meters elevation of ¼ miles (about .4 kilometers) via of a steep to the top you can climb to the Moro Rock which is a granite dome. For the Great Western Divide and for the Sequoia mountains the spectacular views provides the top. You should remember that with the steep drop-offs is very narrow as the staircase those who afraid if heights for them this is not the proper thing to explore.

● Crescent Meadow – In the summer with wildflowers awash a High-Sierra meadow.

□ The Mineral Kings:
