From the main square Myra is about 2 km and by a short taxi ride is the best option for visitor to reach there, to Cayagzi also makes the short trip the Dolmuses and taxis. From Kas a 45 minute drive or minibus ride to the east Demre itself. About 3 hours to the east Antalya is the closest airport. According to the Turkish Ministry of Tourism and Culture every year around 544,846 tourist come to visit this city.
