The mysterious “Borobudur” Buddhist stupa (Part – 2)

At the Borobudur what to see:
From the above if viewed, of a giant mandala the Borobudur takes the form, from samsara to nirvana of the bodhisattva symbolically depicting the path, in the Gandavyuha Sutra described through the story of Sudhana, of the Avatamsaka Sutra what is a part. Over 2 million stone blocks in total contains this massive monument.

For helping the people to achieve the enlightenment of Buddhism a gigantic textbook is this massive monument, some scholars thinks that. More than two miles of a walk requires in stone to read this Buddhist textbook. Illustrating the principles of Buddha Shakyamuni teaching and the life of him with massive reliefs are adorned the walls of the galleries.

For the universe the existence is representing, the Buddhist cosmology perfectly reflects the Borobudur, in three intermingled separate levels which divides the universe. The Kamadhatu means the world of rise, the Ruphadhatu means the world of forms and the Arupadhatu means the world of formlessness are the three levels.

The first level is originally the hidden base of Borobudur, the gallery of Kamadhatu level which contains. A land fall experienced the Borobudur during the construction which threaten the whole building that it is thought. From collapsing to prevent the whole monument, was closed the Kamadhatu level and into a new base it was build which holds steady the Borobudur.

The Tushita heaven the glorious descent of Buddha from it starts. As the Prince Siddhartha born, from the outside world’s misery was isolated Buddha’s childhood. The decrepitude, death and the misery of sickness accidentally witnessing, from the worldly life decided to escape young Prince Siddhartha and from suffering for freedom commencing his search. To the highest level of enlightenment finally led him Siddhartha’s painful and long search and made him the Enlightened One, the Buddha. In the Deer Park near Benares with Buddha’s sermon this story ends.

About Buddha’s previous reincarnation, virtues and chains a collection of stories is the Jataka. As Prince Siddhartha before being born Buddha was born 504 time, according to Jataka, the forms of god, Princes, kings, gambler, thieves, slaves and learned men taking on. In the form of animal like the deer, swan, bird, horse, lion, monkey, quail, big turtle and many others form he was born many times. But among whom he lived from all slaves, kings or the animals the Boddhisatva (to be the Buddha) was distinguished.
